In time we've learnt that Indrans is not an actor to overlook in lieu of his humble presence. With one art ouse film after another, Indrans is proving his acting prowess after time and again after each release. However, Gramavasees asks too little of this talent powerhouse. It allows him to slid off and on the comedy bandwagon. Gramavasees is director B N Shajeer Sha's fourth cinematic outing.
Madhavan (Indrans) a widower and his brother-in-law Kovalan are alcoholics who go around creating ruckus in their inebriated stupor. But when it starts affecting Prabhjot, Madhavan's son they vow to not touch alcohol till they manage to get him married. While that happens over a time the land dispute gets serious. Madhavan's daughter claims the land as her dowry and wants her father and brother out of the way. How the land dispute is is managed is what makes the cinema.
Renjith Murali, the cinematographer, gives us a visual treat. The songs, though one too many, sit well in the film. Indrans plays Madhavan with a shift from comedy to a character of gravitas with confidence and substance. Though Santosh Kezhatoor has too few scenes to even establish him as the main antagonist, he does his best. Azees Nedumangad also looks at ease with his character.
However, there are also far too many amateur artists who spoil the broth. And the choppy writing doesn't allow the audience to really bite on to the story. Notwithstanding the sexual innuendo rich, cringe-worthy excuses for jokes. Like it is clear from this far, Gramavasees is too many stories said all at once. The story goes in all tangents together making for an overall bland storytelling.
Gramavasees is the weakest at it's story, and then nothing, not even Indrans' powerful presence seems to save the day from doom.

പാര്വതി സിനിമാസിന്റെ ബാനറിൽ എൻ.എസ് കുമാര് നിര്മ്മിച്ച് ബി.എൻ ഷജീര് ഷാ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് ഗ്രാമവാസീസ്. ഹൈ ഹോപ്സ് ഫിലിം ഫാക്ടറിയാണ് ചിത്രം തിയറ്ററുകളിലെത്തിക്കുന്നത്. കഥ തിരക്കഥ സംഭാഷണം നിതിൻ നാരായണനാണ് നിര്വ്വഹിക്കുന്നത്. നന്മനിറഞ്ഞ ഒരുകൂട്ടം ഗ്രാമവാസികളുടെ ജീവിത മുഹൂര്ത്തങ്ങള് ഹാസ്യരസപ്രദമായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ് ചിത്രം.
അസീസ് നെടുമങ്ങാട്, സന്തോഷ് കീഴാറ്റൂര്, മിഥുൻ മോഹൻ, ഷബീര് ഷാ, വിഷ്ണു, സാബു തിരുവല്ല, സജി പേയാട്, അജി നെട്ടയം, ദീപു, ജയൻ നെട്ടയം, സാനന്ദി സനൽ തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനേതാക്കള്. രഞ്ജിത്ത് മുരളി ഛായാഗ്രഹണവും സുഹാസ് രാജേന്ദ്രൻ എഡിറ്റിങ്ങും രാജേഷ് ട്വിങ്കിള് കലാസംവിധാനവും ശ്രീജിത്ത് കലൈ അരസ് ചമയവും തമ്പി ആര്യനാട് വസ്ത്രാലങ്കാരവും എബ്രാഹാം ലിങ്കൺ വാര്ത്താവിതരണവും നിര്വ്വഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
നിതിൻ നാരായണൻ, രഞ്ജിത്ത് മാവേലിക്കര, ഷാഹദ ബഷീര്, യു.നാരായണൻ നായര്, മാസ്റ്റര് അഭിരാം നിതിൻ എന്നിവര് എഴുതിയ ഗാനങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഷാ ബ്രോസ്, സൂരജ് റെക്സ് എന്നിവര് സംഗീത സംവിധാനം നിര്വ്വഹിക്കുന്നു. പന്തളം ബാലൻ, വിധു പ്രതാപ്, നജീം അര്ഷാദ്, ഷബീര് ഷാ, മിഥുൻ മുരളി, സാനന്ദി, ശ്രീക്കുട്ടി എന്നിവരാണ് ഗായകര്. എല്ലാത്തരം പ്രേക്ഷകരെയും രസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രമായിരിക്കുമിതെന്നാണ് അണിയറപ്രവര്ത്തകര് നൽകുന്ന സൂചന.
